
It was organized by the Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated with the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine in cooperation with the Iraqi Quran Activists Union.
According to the website of the Astan, the Dar-ol-Quran center has begun its Quranic forums in the provinces of Nineveh, Kirkuk, Basra, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Salah al-Din, Baghdad, Wasit, Diwaniyah, Muthanna as well as other parts of Iraq.
Based on the Astan’s program, the forum on “the text of the Quran being free from distortion” was held in Baghdad with the participation of a group of experts and researchers in the field of Quranic studies.
Numerous scientific evidence and reasons were presented in this event, including the results of tests conducted on Quranic manuscripts from the first century AH in specialized laboratories in Europe.
The Astan also held another meeting with the aim of introducing the Quran attributed to Imam Ali (AS) and its features.
These two meetings were widely welcomed by the attendees, and the topics raised made the discussions more fruitful.

Alaa Mohsen, head of the Dar-ol-Quran center said the purpose of holding these meetings is to spread Quranic culture and strengthen public awareness of the concepts of the Holy Quran and its impact on the development of individuals and society.
He added that the programs also emphasize the role of religious institutions in establishing authentic Quranic values.
