One Million Pilgrims Visit Medina Quran Printing Complex in 2025
The printing complex is one of the main destinations for pilgrims to Medina, and in 2025, some one million pilgrims from inside and outside Saudi Arabia visited it.
Visitors were introduced to efforts to serve the Quran and print and publish the Holy Book in different languages of the world.
The King Fahd Quran Printing Complex, located in Medina, is renowned for its extensive production of the Holy Quran.
Established in 1984, it is the largest Holy Quran printing and distribution center in the world.
The complex produces approximately 10 million copies of the Quran annually, including translations in numerous languages such as English, Indonesian, Russian, Japanese, Persian, Urdu, Bengali, and Korean.
The primary mission of this center is to print and distribute Qurans according to the Mutawatir recitations that are endorsed by Islamic scholars and Quranic researchers.

The printing oversight system involves several stages, which, in addition to initial checks and supervision, include monitoring during printing and examination of final samples.
Digital and audio versions of the Quran are also made available to interested parties via electronic platforms and smart applications.
