Over 400,000 Benefit from Programs of Imam Hussein Shrine’s Dar-ol-Quran

IQNA – The Dar al-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine said more than 400,000 people benefited from the center’s programs last year.

The Dar al-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine has presented a report on its Quranic, educational, and cultural activities in 2025.

According to Wassam Nadhir al-Delfi, head of the Quranic Media Center of the Astan, the number of people who have benefited from the services provided by the center in 2025 reached 405,019.

He said this number shows the amount of effort made to serve the Holy Quran and spread the Quranic culture among different segments of society.

He added that the activities carried out last year included more than 2,000 educational, academic, cultural and religious programs held within the framework of an organizational vision aimed at consolidating Quranic values ​​and promoting religious and intellectual awareness in society.

Al-Delfi said the organization of 1,163 Quranic gatherings inside and outside Iraq, and holding 48 specialized Quranic seminars and 560 Quranic recitations, 21 Quranic and art workshops, and 12 art exhibitions were among the programs of the center in 2025.

The programs for 2025 also included launching 97 Quranic stations, holding 208 inaugurations for various projects and activities, and holding 14 Quranic and art competitions in order to develop Quranic capabilities and discover talents, he stated.

Al-Delfi concluded by emphasizing that the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan will develop and continue its Quranic programs and projects in line with the guidelines of the custodian of the holy shrine in order to serve the Book of God and spread authentic Quranic sciences and culture.
