Hamas Urges World to Take Practical Steps to Stop Israeli Aggressions

IQNA – The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas called on world countries to turn statements condemning the Israeli aggressions in Palestine into practical steps.

In response to the Israeli regime’s decisions and moves to annex the West Bank and take full control of Palestinian lands, the foreign ministers of 19 Arab, Islamic and other countries issued a joint statement condemning these Israeli actions.

In response, Hamas on Tuesday morning welcomed the statement that condemned the Israeli cabinet’s plans to expand its actions aimed at consolidating control and annexing the occupied West Bank.

Hamas added, “We consider this action a step in the right direction in confronting the expansionist plans of the occupiers, which are a clear violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.”

 

The movement added, “We call on these countries and all other countries of the world to turn the results of this statement into practical and tangible steps by imposing deterrent sanctions and pressure on the fascist Zionist regime to stop the policies of this regime, which aim to impose the annexation plot, expand settlements in Palestinian lands, and forcibly displace Palestinians, as well as to stop the systematic aggressions of the occupiers against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.”
