Quranic Diplomacy on Path of A Unified Ummah
Its missions also include designing purposeful trips for the “Quranic Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran” and launching the International Academy of the Holy Quran with an artificial intelligence assistant, Ali Reza Tavallayi told IQNA.
This foundation is inspired by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s instructions on the necessity of centralizing the Quran to operationalize the message of Islamic brotherhood at the regional and international levels, he stated.
“This foundation was formed with the inspiration of the Leader’s emphasis on the centrality of the Quran, the Kaaba, and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in creating cohesion among Islamic schools of thought and is trying to bring this view from a theoretical level to the operational level.”
He said the Quranic Diplomacy Foundation is an independent group and does not have a budget dependency on the government, but it enjoys spiritual support and cooperation from institutions such as the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and some other cultural organizations, including the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
After the issuance of the decree of the Quranic Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Quran Master Hamed Shakernejad, the need to create a coherent structure to provide content and strategic support for this mission was felt more than ever before, and the foundation began its activities within this framework, Tavallayi stated.
Noting that the foundation's approach is not simply to hold symbolic programs, he said, “We are trying to follow the concept of Islamic brotherhood in an operational manner. In this regard, each trip of the Quranic Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran is accompanied by a precise content design. Before the trip, the cultural, religious and social conditions of the destination country are examined; the view of the people of that country towards Iran is analyzed, and the message that should be conveyed by the Quranic community of Iran is expertly compiled and prepared.”

He continued, “This content will be made available to the Quranic Ambassador to use it with his creativity and personal discretion in meetings and Quranic circles. The goal is that the presence of the representative of the Iranian Quranic community in other countries is not just a recitation trip, but rather a carrier of a message of unity, empathy and cultural dialogue.”
He added: "We believe that Quranic diplomacy should also be active in social and humanitarian crises and strengthen ties between Muslim nations with the language of empathy.”
