IQNA – Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref emphasized that the cost of a Zionist-centric perspective in the upcoming negotiations between Iran and the US will fall directly on the world’s shoulders.

“If we negotiate in Islamabad with representatives of 'America First', it is possible to reach an agreement that is beneficial for the world,” Aref wrote in a post on X on Saturday.

“But if we face representatives of 'Israel First', no agreement will be reached; we will inevitably continue our defense even more vigorously than in the past, and the world will face greater costs.”

Delegations from Iran and the United States have arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, for negotiations on ending the war imposed on Iran in late February.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a war of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28, during which hundreds of people and officials, including then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei were martyred.
