IQNA – The leader of Shia Muslims in Nigeria said Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei continues the path of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution with strength and dignity.

Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky

Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky said the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah, by their steadfastness and choosing a successor to Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei who himself lost loved ones in the cause of truth, have proven that the path of the revolution will continue with strength and dignity, Al-Ahed News reported.

Sheikh Zakzaky made the remarks in a message on the occasion of the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei.

He said America faced the barrier of divine power and all its hope for the collapse of the Islamic system was destroyed.

Stating that these 40 days showed everyone the true position of the martyred Leader, he said the enemy thought that the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei would lead to the collapse of everything, but they saw that the Iranian nation and the entire Islamic Ummah considered his martyrdom as the loss of the father of the Ummah, and the commitment to his path doubled.

Sheikh Zakzaky continued by describing the election of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Republic as another great shock for the enemies because the successor of the martyred Imam also follows his path.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei is also a figure who lost his family members in the path of truth in the recent aggression, and this makes him a guarantor for continuing this path with steadfastness.

He continued by addressing the enemies and leaders of arrogance, saying, “What did you see? You saw a nation that, despite all the destruction you have caused, stands by the Islamic Republic system day and night. Even inside America, they declared solidarity with Iran, and all of this gave this righteous servant of God dignity and immortality that you never thought of.”

Sheikh Zakzaky also pointed out the developments on the ground and warned the enemies that the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab are not without an owner, and the people of Iran and Yemen are their owners by the divine will and providence.

Anyone who wants safe passage through the sea passages must respect the sovereignty of their legal owners, he emphasized.

He continued by calling on the aggressors to admit their defeat, abandon the idea of another aggression, and compensate for the damages they have caused to Iran.
