Iran’s People, Officials United, Ready to Confront Enemy: Senior Cleric

IQNA – The whole world should know that the Iranian people and officials are more united and more prepared to confront the conspiracies and deceptions of the enemy, a senior Iranian cleric said.

Ayatollah Alireza Aarafi, the director of Iran’s Seminaries, made the remark in a message in response to US President Donald Trump’s recent nonsense about divisions among the ranks of Iranians.

“Trump’s series of messages, tweets, and satanic positions, on the one hand, stems from deceit and demonic hatred towards truth, justice, freedom, human dignity, and the progressive discourse of the Islamic Revolution. On the other hand, it is a testament to his satanic inner self and a mirror of the culture and spirit of an arrogant and animalistic civilization,” Ayatollah Aarafi wrote in the message.

“In addition, it shows spiritual turmoil, field desperation, and helplessness in the face of global and public opinion, the Islamic Iran Front, and the proud resistance.”

He added that the depth of the differences, divisions, and widespread rifts in American society and its official institutions, and within its government and parties, the confusion in the positions of America’s friends and allies in Europe and the world, have confused America and the Zionists, and the unity of the nations of the region and the world against war, aggression, cruelty, and bloodshed, as well as the steadfastness and perseverance of Iran and the axis of resistance, have added to the confusion and turmoil on the American-Zionist front.

“Trump’s recent and continuous confusion, lies, and nonsense stem from this strategic failure and field helplessness, and will never create a breach in the steely ranks of the great nation of Iran, its armed forces, and its officials.”

Ayatollah Aarafi went on to say, “Let the whole world know that now the hearts, steps, and ranks of the Iranian nation and the resistance, and all the institutions, officials, apparatuses, and movements of Islamic Iran and the resistance, are more united and coherent, and are more prepared to confront the conspiracies and deceptions of the enemy, and with coherence and unity and by following the Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may God bless him), they will walk the path of protecting their dignity and honor.”

He also emphasized that the Iranian religious and clerical institutions, seminaries, and scientific and academic institutions, and all seminarians stand firm on their pledge for the independence and dignity of Iran and on the path of the ideals of Islam, the revolution, and the dear martyrs.
