According to the IMN website, this ceremony is held every year to acknowledge students from various schools in Fodia who have succeeded in memorizing the Holy Quran, in order to congratulate them and also to strengthen their motivation and morale.
In another part of the program, pictures of students from Minab Elementary School were displayed to honor their memory, as they were the same age and period as these Quran memorizers.
