IQNA – The Islamic Movement in Nigeria held its 15th Holy Quran Memorization graduation event with a program to commemorate the school students martyred in a US-Israeli strike on southern Iran.

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria held its 15th Holy Quran Memorization graduation event in Kano on May 2, 2026.

In this ceremony, held on Saturday in Kano, more than two hundred male and female students from different parts of Nigeria were honored for succeeding in memorizing the Holy Quran in full.

According to the IMN website, this ceremony is held every year to acknowledge students from various schools in Fodia who have succeeded in memorizing the Holy Quran, in order to congratulate them and also to strengthen their motivation and morale.

In another part of the program, pictures of students from Minab Elementary School were displayed to honor their memory, as they were the same age and period as these Quran memorizers. This action was also meant to condemn the crimes and terrorist acts of the US government and the Israeli regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
