Brunei Quran Students Awarded Certificates

IQNA – A certificate presentation ceremony was held at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque in Brunei for students of Quran classes.

Some 70 students of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah’s Youth Advanced Al-Quran Class were recognized for their commitment to learning and appreciating the Quran during the ceremony at the mosque’s Multi-purpose Hall recently.

Superintendent of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Haji Haris bin Haji Suboh, the guest of honor, presented the certificates.

Organized by the mosque’s takmir committee, the ceremony aimed to recognize the efforts and achievements of youth participating in the advanced Quran classes, while encouraging the younger generation to continue deepening their understanding of Quran as a guide in life.

The classes are designed to expose students to the fundamentals of Quran recitation, including taranum (melodic recitation).

The ceremony reflects the mosque’s efforts to position itself not only as a place of worship but also as a center for education and youth character development.
