Pezhakian on Saturday posted Verse 64 of Surah Al-Imran:
“(Muhammad), say to the People of the Book, ‘We must come to a common term. Let us worship no one except God, nor consider anything equal to Him, nor regard any of us as our Lord besides God.’ However, if they turn away from (the Truth), tell them, ‘Bear witness that we have submitted ourselves to the will of God.’”

According to the Noor Exegesis of the Holy Quran by Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qaraati, this verse indicates that Muslims should reach an agreement with the People of the Book on common ground and that monotheism and aversion to polytheism are among the common things of all divine religions.

It also says there are three opinions about the revelation of this verse: that it was revealed about the Christians of Najran, that it was revealed about the Jews of Medina, and, third, it was revealed about both Jews and Christians.
