
It has been organized by the Holy Quran Scientific Assembly affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, Al-Kafeel reported.
Sheikh Wissam al-Sabti, an official with the Assembly’s Quran center, said this workshop is part of the tenth course of the Quranic project specifically for seminary students, which includes a sequential training program and training on three levels of Quran recitation and correct recitation rules (beginner, intermediate and advanced), as well as three courses of Quranic sciences.
Theoretical and practical exams were held with the participation of 718 students for qualifying to attend the workshop, and at the end, 16 students were selected to participate in it, he stated.
Al-Sabti said the workshop will last for four days and will include lectures by several experts, including Sheikh Bassim al-Idrisi on new teaching methods, Sheikh Asaad al-Noufeli on the topic of calligraphy and Quranic script, Neema al-Asadi on teaching methods and techniques, and Ali al-Bayati on managing lessons on the rules of recitation.

The stated goals of the workshop are to prepare teachers who are proficient in the rules of recitation and Quranic sciences, empower them to teach Quranic courses, and help enrich the students' Quranic project with specialized training.
