The Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques Architecture contains rare historical artifacts documenting the care given to the Holy Kaaba across various Islamic eras.
Among the most prominent is a pure gold plaque that adorned the top of the Holy Kaaba’s gate more than three centuries ago.
Dating back to 1707 A.D., the plaque consists of six interconnected pieces mounted on an iron base and engraved with Quranic verses in exquisite Arabic calligraphy.
The piece offers visitors a glimpse into the Kaaba’s architectural history and the artistic traditions of the Two Holy Mosques across the centuries.
