IQNA – Two Palestinian towns east of Ramallah were hit by overnight arson attacks carried out by illegal Israeli settlers.

On Sunday night, June 14, 2026, illegal settlers set fire to a number of vehicles and a mosque in the towns of Deir Dibwan and Burqa, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that a group of colonizers infiltrated the town of Burqa and set fire to a citizen’s vehicle parked in front of the Al-Nour Mosque.

According to the head of the Burqa village council, the settlers broke down the doors to the mosque and set fire to its entrance, before citizens were able to extinguish the fire.

Meanwhile, another group of colonizers set fire to two vehicles and vandalized two others in the nearby town of Deir Dibwan.

WAFA correspondent reported that the settlers stormed the Al-Marah area, and burned two vehicles, completely destroying them.

The settlers vandalized and damaged two other vehicles owned by local citizens, near the western entrance.

Earlier, Israeli settlers infiltrated the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, northwest of Ramallah, and attacked Palestinians who confronted them.

The head of the Deir Abu Mash’al village council, Jamil Musa, said a group of colonizers hurled rocks at citizens while they were attempting to access their land.

He added that occupation forces stormed the area in order to provide protection for the illegal settlers; there were no reports of injuries or arrests.

The Palestinian ministry of foreign affairs and expatriates denounced the arson attacks on Palestinian property carried out by Israeli colonizers in Deir Dibwan and Burqa.

In a statement, the ministry said that the attacks fall within the framework of Israel’s policy of organized terrorism against the Palestinian people.
