IRGC Emphasizes Iranian Nation, Armed Forces’ Support for Their Statesmen
In a statement on Friday, the IRGC hailed a message issued a day earlier by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei on the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US and the following negotiations
It said the “wise message … strengthened the unity of the ranks of the people, made the people in the field more united and the warriors on the battlefronts more hopeful to preserve their victorious achievements, and became a precious capital for the politics of our men on the path to realizing the rights of the nation.”
The IRGC added, “Now that the aggressor enemy has been defeated in the face of the history-making mission of the Iranian nation and the brilliant epic creations of the warriors of Islam on the battlefield, and has retreated in despair from the positions of erasing Iran from the map and returning it to prehistoric times to the position of requesting and begging for understanding and negotiation, and has knelt before the greatness of our nation, the expectation of all the nation and warriors is that the political (officials) will also be an extension of that glorious field and lead to the realization of the rights of the proud Iranian nation.”

The statement went on to say, “The beloved nation and the warriors of Islam are like a solid mountain supporting their statesmen. And if the treacherous enemy wants to resort to excessive demands and abuse the rights of the Iranian nation as in the past, the IRGC forces on land, sea, air, and all battlefields are in a more powerful combination than in the past and, taking advantage of the experiences of several battles, are ready to impose a much greater historical defeat on them (if the brave and wise commander gives the order”.
