With the coordination of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Astan and in cooperation with the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Foundation in Turkey and the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Association, which represents the Turkmen community in Istanbul, daily mourning sessions and special and separate programs have been prepared for men, women and children, he stated.
Taleghani added, “We are preparing for the fourth annual Ashura gathering, which will be held this year in the city of Hatay in southern Turkey, a large part of which was destroyed by an earthquake.”
A special delegation from the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine will attend the mourning ceremony in Hatay on the day of Ashura, he went on to say.
