Thousands of Pilgrims benefit from Arbaeen Quranic Stations in Iraq
The plan was implemented in cooperation with the Najaf Islamic Seminary during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
The Quranic stations set up as part of this plan provided services to thousands of pilgrims.
This project served more than 81,000 people and its programs were carried out with the participation of 750 male and female Quran teachers located at 90 stations in the province of Karbala and a number of other provinces in Iraq.
Sheikh Khairuddin Al-Hadi, head of the Dar-ol-Quran Center, said the wide reception of the Quranic stations emphasizes the success of this project in conveying the Quranic message to pilgrims.
The staff of the center worked diligently over a seven-day period to raise awareness and provide Quranic and educational services, which helped to correct recitation and strengthen religious and cultural awareness of the pilgrims, he stated.
Al-Hadi added that the project included a wide range of activities, including seven international Quranic gatherings and 47 domestic Quranic gatherings.
“In addition, the center held 23 competitions and seminars, as well as 82 awareness-raising lectures on various Quranic and religious topics, and distributed more than 25,000 blessed gifts among pilgrims, he said.

He emphasized that the annual achievements of this project are an incentive to further develop and expand its services on future occasions and will strengthen the provision of Quranic programs to pilgrims.
Al-Hadi concluded by recalling that this project also reflects the mission of the Astan in spreading the Quranic culture and institutionalizing its values in society.
