President Enters Elysee Palace Holding Copy of Quran

Gambia’s president, who is in Paris along with a number of other African leader, entered the Elysee Palace with a copy of the Holy Quran in hand.

Yahya Abdul-Aziz Jemus has been seen holding the copy in his hand in all of his meetings with French officials, letempsdz website reported.

He and other African officials are in Paris attending a conference on peace and security in Africa.

Meanwhile, Algerian Prime Minister who is also in Paris visited the grand mosque in Paris on Friday and talked to French Muslim leaders.

During the visit, Dalil Bubakr, head of the French Muslims Council and director of the mosque, presented a report on Islamic activities and the problems Muslims are facing in France.
