12th Vol. of Quran Encyclopedia to Be Published

Director of Quranic encyclopedia’s section of the Center for Quran Culture and Teachings announced that the 12th edition of Quran Encyclopedia will be published.


According to the website of the Research Center for Islamic Sciences and Culture, Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Khorasani said that 11 volumes of the collection have been published so far and the new volume is being published by Bustan-e Ketab Publication Institute.



He expressed hope that the volume will be presented at Tehran international book fair in May.



Khorasani noted that the encyclopedia is the biggest Quranic project being implemented in the world of Islam.



There are some 3000 themes on Quranic sciences, teachings and signs alphabetically listed in the form of 2400 main entries and 600 subentries referring to related issues.



It is expected that the collection will complete in 30 volumes with 75 entries each. The articles under each entry will consist of 4000 words and each volume will cover 1000 pages.
