Urging for Global Muslim Unity, Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Main Characteristic
Philip Defous (Amanullah) who embraced Islam at age 20 and learned about Imam Khomeini’s (RA) ideas when studying philosophy at Sorbonne University, added that he was inspired by Imam Khomeini’s (RA) global message.
He said the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran came to save the Islamic concepts that had been distorted.
“He followed the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the school of Imam Sadeq (AS),” the French scholar stated.
Amanullah, who met Imam Khomeini (RA) during his stay in Neauphle-le-Château, France, added that he was fascinated by Imam even before meeting the great leader.
Amanullah’s wife Huriyeh said the victory of the Islamic Revolution planted the seeds of Islamic awakening in the hearts of French Muslims.
She added that the revolution was a true Islamic awakening and that despite all the efforts made by French and western media, Imam Khomeini’s (RA) message reached all over the world.
