Iranian Qari Highlights Spread of Islam in West

An Iranian Qari who has recently been to several European countries for Quran recitation underlined th spread of Islam in the West, especially in Europe.

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Javad Mousavi Dorchei said people on Europe are thirsty for the Quran and understanding the Divine verses, Fars news agency reported.
He travelled to a number of European countries, including Sweden, Belgium and Germany in February and recited verses from the Holy Quran in different program in these countries.
He said given the enthusiasm of people for reading and understanding the Quran, there is good ground for Quranic activities in Europe.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mousavi Dorchei further noted that when a Qari elaborates on the teachings and concepts of the Holy Quran it will be much more effective for spreading the Quranic teachings.
