The Indian Islamic Center has organized a conference on al-Aqsa Mosque in the Islamic Cultural Center's headquarters in New Delhi.

More than 300 hundreds Indian figures attended the event, in which they stressed Muslims' obligations towards Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque in light of Israeli settlers' repeated attacks in al-Aqsa under Israeli occupation forces' protection.
The participants called on Arab and Islamic peoples and governments to support Palestinian people’s struggle, to lift the siege on Gaza, and to support Jerusalemites' steadfastness to thwart all Israeli schemes against al-Aqsa Mosque.
Head of the Conference Zafar Islam Khan praised Palestinian step to join 15 international treaties and agencies, calling on Muslims around the globe to get ready for the liberation of Palestine.
The participants called on the Indian government to re-adopt supportive policies of the Palestinian issue. Flayers and booklets in different languages about Palestine and Jerusalem were distributed during the event.
Palestine's Ambassador to India detailed Israeli authorities' violations and settlers' crimes against Palestinian people and properties.
Meanwhile, a state of calm has prevailed on Tuesday in al-Aqsa Mosque after Israeli police prevented extremist settlers' break-in into the mosque as planned.
Dozens of Palestinian worshipers have stationed in al-Aqsa Mosque for days to confront Israeli settlers' break-ins planned in Passover.
The holy mosque's guards declared a state of anticipation and alert in al-Aqsa Mosque to prevent any infiltration attempt by Israeli settlers.
An Israeli settler disguised as an Arab managed, however, to infiltrate into al-Aqsa Mosque before being discovered by the mosque guards who handed him over to Israeli police.
