Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution underlined that the Holy Quran and Islam urge Muslims to stand on their own feet, rely on their Islamic-human identity and refuse to yield to the oppression of the world's bullying powers.

Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei made the statement on Sunday, May 11, during a visit to an exhibition on the accomplishments of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
His Eminence underlined that the main reason behind the enmities against the Iran is the Iranian nation's commitment to Islam and the Quran.
The Supreme Leader said that as long as the Iranian nation insists on (following) the Holy Quran, Islam and their sublime objectives, the hostilities of the hegemonic powers will continue.
"The world arrogance front seeks to bring the Iranian nation to their knees and force the nation to retreat (from its aspirations), but will definitely fail to reach this objective."
Ayatollah Khamenei further stressed the need for the country to strive to make progress in different fields through relying on domestic talents, tapping the potentials and asking for God's help.
Elsewhere in his statements, the Supreme Leader reiterated that the West's expectation that the Islamic Republic of Iran limit its missile power is a stupid idea.
“They (the West) expect limits to Iran’s missile program while persistently threatening Iran with military [action]. Therefore, such an expectation is stupid and foolish,” His Eminence said, reacting to a request made by world powers currently engaged in nuclear talks with Iran.
