Photography Competition on Ramadan Begins in France

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a photography competition titled “Ramadan Photo Challenge” has been held from today, June 29, in France.

 According to blog.islamic.fr website, all Muslim and non-Muslim citizens have been invited to participate in the competition.

The photos should be taken by mobile phones and sent to Instagram and Facebook websites.
The competition will continue for 20 days and the photos on each day should be related to the theme specified to that day.
Five top photos will be selected by the jury panel of the competition and awarded.
The competition is aimed at encouraging the citizens to attend mosques and Islamic centers to get acquainted with the rituals and culture of various Islamic schools of thought in the holy month of Ramadan and strengthening religious fraternity.
It has been organized by a number of Islamic institutes and organizations in France and Canada.
