Slated for Sunday, September 7, the competition will be held in the category of Hifz (memorization) of the Quran, Quranfocus website reported.
The Al-Birr Foundation in the UK hosts the annual Quranic event with the aim of encouraging memorization of the Holy Quran amongst young Muslims living in the United Kingdom.
Winners of the competition will be rewarded with cash prizes ranging from £500 to £5000 as well as certificates of achievement presented in the Prize Giving Ceremony which immediately follows the competition.
The contestants should not be over 22 years of age on the 7th of September 2014.
