Quran Recitation Contest Held in Chechnya

The final round of the republican contest among hafizs (memorizers) of Quran was held in the city of Grozny, Chechnya.

The contest was dedicated to the birthday of the first head of the republic of Chechnya Ahmat haji Kadyrov, the press service of the republic reports.
120 contestants competed for the right to be called the best hafiz of Quran in the republic.
The judges of the contest were headed by the famous hafizs of the Holy Quran  sheikh Mahir al-Munajid.
