Morteza Talaei said the association will organize the 7th edition of the contest this year.
Slated for November 11, the competition will feature interpretation of Juzes (parts) 21, 22, and 23 of the Holy Quran, he noted.
The official added that registration for the competition is underway and those interested can refer to the website of the association to sign up.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Talaei said that currently there are some 2050 active grassroots Quranic institutes as well as 4700 Quranic centers in urban and rural areas which are affiliated to the association.
He added that the association and its affiliate centers are actively involved in Quranci programs like the 1448 plan, which featured memorization and interpretation of the 30th Juz of the Quran.
