Int’l Quranic News Agency to Be Launched in Qom

An international Quranic news agency titled “Qaf” is planned to be launched in the holy city of Qom by the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine.

Sayyed Ahmad Najaf, who will be the director of the news agency, told IQNA that it will be based at the Warith-ul-Anbiya Association affiliated with the Husseini holy shrine.
The website of the news agency at http://www.qafqn.org/ will publish Quranic news and information, collections of Quran recitations, collections of Quran interpretations as well as content related to Quranic sciences, he said.
He added that the website aims to to play an important role in connecting news agencies and Quranic media.
It will cover Quranic events in various parts of the world including Canada, Europeans countries, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Persian Gulf countries, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran.
Seyyed Najaf went on to say that news will be published in Arabic, English and Persian languages.
Journalists from 16 countries will cooperate with the news agency.
