Seminary Quran Memorizers Hold Convention in Qom

Iran’s seminary Quran memorizers held a gathering in the holy city of Qom on Wednesday.

Allameh Tabatabei Quran Center in the holy city hosted the event, which was attended by Ayatollah Moqtadaei, secretary of the Supreme Council of Seminaries.
Addressing the convention, Ali Moqanni, a seminary Quranic official, referred to the instructions of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei about the need for training 10 million memorizers in the country and said seminaries have made a lot of efforts in that direction.
He added that in order to promote memorization of the Quran, a Quranic movement will be created in seminaries.
Ayatollah Moqtadaei also delivered a speech in which he elaborated on the virtues of those who learn the Quran by heart.
