No Such Thing As Shia-Sunni Conflict Exists

President of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights Nabeel Rajab underlined that the assertion that there is conflict between Shias and Sunnis is unfounded.

In a comment posted on his Twitter page, Rajab said tyrannical regimes like those in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have made up the idea to divert the public opinion from nations’ freedom seeking and legitimate demands, al-Alam news network reported.

He stressed that Shias and Sunnis both belong to the Muslim Ummah and there should not be any disputes among them.
The human rights activist also said that confronting extremism more than anything else requires fighting the tyranny of despotic regimes.
