Seminary for Women Launched in Qeshm
-- An Islamic seminary for women was launched Monday in the southern Island of Qeshm. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials including head of the island’s Islamic ideology dissemination department, Hojat-ol-Islam Gholami.
In a speech he highlighted the need for Muslim women to advance in scientific arenas.
He said that providing ground for gaining religious knowledge and spreading and fostering religious teachings are the main objectives of seminaries.
Hojat-ol-Islam Gholami went on to say that establishing seminaries for women was a blessing of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Reyhanat-ur-Rasul Seminary fro women was launched in the Qeshm Island by the Islamic ideology dissemination department.
