Italy to Host Conference on Islamic-Iranian Civilization

The Oriental Arts Museum in Rome, Italy will host a conference on the Islamic-Iranian civilization.
The decision for holding the conference was made In a meeting of Iranian Cultural Attaché Ghorban Ali Pourmarjan with head of the museum’s archeological studies center, Professor Lorenzo Costantini, IQNA’s ICRO branch reported.
Speaking at the meeting, Pourmarjan said Iran has played a pivotal role in the development of human civilization, and that only a small portion of Iran’s contributions to the human civilization has been introduced to the world.
Costantini, for his part, highlighted the richness of the Iranian culture and civilization.
He referring to his 40 years of archeological research about Iran’s ancient sites and said the archeological treasures of Iran belong to humanity.
During the meeting, Iran’s cultural attaché and head of the Oriental Arts Museum’s archeological studies center agreed to hold a conference on the Islamic-Iranian civilization with the participation of Italian and Iranian Iranologists.
