Thanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran, people in the world are now thirsty for the spiritual teachings of Islam, an Isfahan Seminary instructor told IQNA.
Hojat-ol-Islam Yusuf Maktubian added the enemies are aware that wherever these teachings spread, the arrogant powers will not be able to exploit and abuse others.
He underlined that despite all the negative propaganda against Islam, interest in this Divine religion is growing in the world day after day.
“People seek a school of thought that can answer all their needs, and Islam’s teachings have that potential and capacity.”
Hojat-ol-Islam Maktubian pointed to the life and Sirah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), saying that the messenger of God (PBUH) was the symbol of compassion and mercy both before Be’sat (call to prophethood) and after.
He said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) ignored all the enmities and antagonisms by the Mushrikin (disbelievers) when he conquered Makkah and overcame the Mushrikin.
Islam and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) always urge people to exercise respect, observe others’ rights, show mercy and forgiveness and be generous, the cleric added.
He referred to the baseless accusations against Islam and said the West seeks to present a violent image of Islam, but such misrepresentations have failed to prevent people's growing interest in the Divine religion.
