Final Stage of Tasnim Quran Competition Slated for February 13

The national stage of the Tasnim Quran Competition will be held on February 13-14, an official with the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization told IQNA.
Javad Tajaliyan, director of the organization’s communications department, said winners of the provincial stage will compete in the categories of Quran recitation, memorization and concepts.
He added that that Andishe Hall of the Islamic Development Organization’s Arts Department will host the contest.
According to Mr. Tajaliyan, 33 Quranic figures of the country, including veteran Quran activists, Quran memorizers, winners of international Quran competitions, etc, will be honored at a ceremony on the sidelines of the competition.
The Tasnim Quran Competition is specially held for the personnel of the country’s cultural institutions.
The Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization organizes the event in cooperation with the Council for Developing Quranic Culture and the Islamic Development departments across the country.
