Servitude to God, Basis of Islamic Lifestyle

The basis of Islamic lifestyle is servitude to God with pure intention (Ikhlas), head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Mohammadi made the remark on Monday, February 4, in an address to the closing ceremony of the Great Prophet (PBUH) National Congress, adding “When our relation with God is based on pure intention, the foundations of Islamic lifestyle are formed.”
The ceremony was held with the participation of Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Mohammadi, Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, director of Tehran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Department Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadzadeh, secretary of the congress Hojat-ol-Islam Mirlohi and senior cleric Hojat-ol-Islam Panahian.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mirlohi in his speech referred to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as the pivot of unity in the Islamic world and stressed that Muslims ought to acquire a deeper understanding of the status of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He also urged that new technologies should be employed to introduce the teachings of the messengers of God to the world.
Minister of Culture also took the podium, saying that the Holy Quran and Holy prophet (PBUH) are sources of blessings and guidance.
He urged that the medium of arts should be used to promote the Seerah and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Infallible Imams (AS).
Later in the program, a book containing selected works of the congress was unveiled.
