Zionist Regime Behind Assassination of Hassan Shateri
Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon said the Zionist regime was behind the assassination of Hassan Shateri, who headed the Iranian delegation overseeing reconstruction of Southern Lebanon.
Speaking to Al-Alam news network, Ghazanfar Roknabadi rejected conflicting reports about the assassination especially those by the Syrian Liberation Army.
Syria’s Liberation Army said Shateri was killed in the bombing of Jamaraya region by Zionist fighter jets two weeks ago.
Roknabadi underlined that the occupying regime benefited the most from the assassination and it indicates its involvement in this crime.
Martyr Shateri was an active figure in reconstruction of Southern Lebanon that had been bombed by Israel in 2006, he said.
In other news, Ghazanfar Roknabadi in an address to a political seminar held by Hezbollah, referred to the judicious leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), people’s presence on the scene, and faith in God as the three main factors that led to the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
He also said that despite international sanctions and pressures, the Islamic Republic of Iran is today an independent and self-sufficient country.
