“Islamic Culture Day” Program in Russia

An “Islamic Culture Day” program will be held on February 24 in Novouzensky District of Saratov Oblast in Russia.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the country's Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs announced that the program will be organized on the occasion of the 20th establishment anniversary of "Al-Rahman" Grand Mosque in Novouzensk city.
It will include competitions on Islamic teachings, recitation of the Holy Quran and Tawasheeh, organized for different age groups.
The program will be held with the participation of a number of scholars, intellectuals, religious and political figures, officials of Russia’s Muftiat Council, members of the religious office, officials of the province’s governorate, imams and custodians of mosques and the staff of Islamic centres in the region.
