Malaysia’s Financial Support for Quran Memorization Sessions in Gaza

The Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif Foundation in Malaysia has signed an agreement with Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah Institute in Gaza Strip.
According to Ma’an News Agency, the agreement was signed at a meeting of the Malaysian foundation's officials with Abdul Rahman Al-Jamal, head of the Dar-ol-Quran and Sunnah who is on a visit in Malaysia.
The Malaysian foundation has undertaken to provide financial assistance to hold 100 Quranic sessions in the Gaza Strip in a period of 4 years.
The head of the Quranic center appreciated Malaysia’s role in supporting Palestinian people in general and Quranic centers of the region in particular as well as the efforts of Aman Palestine Institute in Malaysia in financially and spiritually supporting Quran memorization in Gaza.
The institute has allocated a budget for construction of a Quranic school in Gaza and in cooperation with the foundation, backs the plan for dispatching imams of Palestinian mosques to Malaysia.
