Iran’s Quranic Community to Participate at Martyred Leader’s Funeral

IQNA – The Supreme Quran and Etrat Center of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance urged massive participation in the upcoming funeral ceremony of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The center invited the members of the Quranic community, Quranic institutions, reciters, memorizers and servants of the Quran, and the people who love and follow the Quran to once again show the glory of Quranic unity and revolutionary insight to the world with their enthusiastic and conscious attendance at the funeral of the martyred Leader of the nation and his honorable family.

By consciously attending the funeral, the Quranic community renews its allegiance to the ideals of the Imams of the Islamic Revolution and renews its covenant with the beloved Leader Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, it added.

The funeral procession will be held for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Tehran on Saturday and Sunday, July 4-5, 2026.

Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei was martyred following the launch of the latest bout of unprovoked American-Israeli aggression against Iran on February 28.

The aggression that also claimed the lives of senior officials and countless ordinary civilians, triggered Iran to respond by staging at least 100 decisive and successful retaliatory strikes against sensitive and strategic American and Israeli targets. The reprisal prompted the United States to announce a unilateral ceasefire on April 7.
