OIC Secretary General Congratulates People of Iran and Their President-Elect

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has warmly congratulated the Iranian people for their massive turn-out and their orderly conduct during the successful Presidential election held on 14 June 2013.

While also congratulating the newly elected President Hassan Rowhani, the Secretary General expressed the hope that the Islamic Republic of Iran, a founding and active member of the OIC, would be led to greater prosperity, development and success in all fields during his tenure.
