The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) roundly condemned as terrorist the bomb attacks that targeted a series of districts in Baghdad last Saturday leaving over 70 dead and more than 300 injured.
ISESCO warned the terrorist blasts, completely rejected by Islam, would perpetuate sectarian strife and instability in Iraq, plunge the country into a new spiral of bloody violence and stir up irrational hatred between fellow countrymen.
It also offered condolences to the families of the victims and the Iraqi people, praying Allah to have the dead in His sacred mercy and heal the wounded.
ISESCO further denounced as abjectly unfounded all acts of terrorist violence.
