Jameat-ul-Quran Nat’l Contest Kicks off

The 15th national Quran competition of Jameat-ul-Quran began in the central province of on Thursday.

200 top Quran reciters and memorizers from all over the country are attending the competition, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Reza Abdollahzadeh, executive manager of the event told IQNA.
He said the participants compete in several categories including Tarteel recitation of the Quran, memorization and prayers.
Hojat-ol-Islam Abdollahzadeh added that 14 prominent Quran experts form the jury panel of the national competition.
The competition will conclude on Saturday, August 17, and 30 winners in different categories will be awarded at the closing ceremony on Saturday.
