The three-day forum is organized by the Sultan Qaboos Centre for Culture and Science (SQCCS) under the theme ‘Our Meeting: Pioneering and Creative’.
Eng. Ahmad Bin Ali Al Amri, Adviser of Technical Affairs at the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, patronized over the opening of the meeting, which was attended by officials of the governmental agencies in the governorate.
The forum addresses a number of scientific and educational programs and themes, including the role of administration in improving educational performance, development of student talents, service trends in psychological counseling, as well as the role of the acquisition committee in responding to learning disabilities, assessment of performance at Holy Quran schools and open dialogue between the participants and officials from the education sector at the centre.
The forum includes 206 participants representing the principals of the institute, their assistants, educational supervisors, specialists, heads of departments, teachers at Holy Quran institutes and schools.
The forum aims to improve the professional development of teachers at Islamic Sciences Institutes, Holy Quran schools, as well as administrative and technical posts associated with teaching, in addition to the improvement of educational performance, skills and capacities of staff at the educational institutions affiliated to the centre.
