Different Translations of Divine Book Published by Quran Publication Center
Director of the Center for Publication of the Holy Quran said that 19 different translations of the Divine Book have been published by the center so far.
Mohammad Babayi told IQNA that the center is going to publish a copy of the Holy Quran with a new translation by Hojat-ol-Islam Ansariyan.
Believing that variety in the translations helps to better disseminate the Holy Quran’s teachings, he said that the copies published by the center are of various types including literal, narrative, etc.
Among the translations there is a copy dating back to the 5th century and a copy which is the most recent translation of the Holy Quran by Ghlam’ali Haddad Adel.
He added that proficient translators and researchers of the center also plan to prepare a precise and fluent translation of Nahjul Balaqa under the title of "Explanation of the Terms of Nahjul Balaqa".
