“Islamic Family and Imam Ali (AS)” Forum Held in India
A forum titled “Islamic family and Imam Ali (AS)” was held on October 27 by Muammel Cultural Institute in Lucknow District of Uttar Pradesh State of India.
According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the program began with Quran recitation at Mir Zainul Abedin Huseiniyyah (public center for organization of religious ceremonies).
It was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Minhal Zeidi, who talked about objectives and activities of the institute.
Shah Waseem, lecturer of Aligarh Islamic University, Mohammad Jaber Jurasi, managing Director of Islah Monthly and Fruzan were other speakers at the program who talked about features of an Islamic family.
The university lecturer clarified the important role of a family in every human’s life and referring to some Hadiths by the infallibles (AS), he stressed the necessity of educating children based on correct models.
The Seerah and life of Imam Ali (AS) and Hazrat Zeynab (SA) were discussed at the forum by Fruzan, who noted that the life of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) is the best model for all human being.
The winners of a book-reading contest held by the institute were awarded at the end of the program.
