Quranic Scholars Honored on Sidelines of Int’l Quran Contest

TEHRAN (IQNA) – During a seminar on the sidelines of the 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students a number of Quranic scholars were honored.

Tribute was paid to Masoud Varshosaz, Ensiyeh Khazali, Seyed Qadir Seyyed-Hashemi and Jafar Roshanian during the seminar on interdisciplinary Quranic studies.
It was held at Tehran’s Milad Tower on Saturday, with the participation of a number of scholars and experts.
The Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization held the seminar as part of the sideline programs of the international Quranic event.
The 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students will conclude Sunday night in a ceremony at Milad Towe where winners will be announced and awarded.
