Titled “Heroic Resistance of Iraqi People against ISIL”, the expo’s photos showcase the joint courageous resistance of Iraq’s Shias and Sunnis against the Takfiri group.
The Youths Affairs Center affiliated to the Zeynabiya Movement is hosting the exhibition.
Mahdi in an interview with a Turkish Shia website underlined that Shias and Sunnis in Iraq are unanimously fighting ISIL.
The ISIL terrorists, many of whom were initially trained by the US Central Intelligence Agency in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, now control parts of Iraq and neighboring Syria. They have been engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control.
The Iraqi Army, backed by Shia and Sunni volunteers, has been conducting offensives to liberate the areas occupied by the terrorist group.
