Iranian, Egyptian Qaris Attend Quranic Sessions in Lebanon
TEHRAN (IQNA) - A series of Quran reading sessions have been organized in different parts of Lebanon with the participation of Iranian and Egyptian Quran reciters.
According to Qaf news agency, the programs have been held by Lebanese Quranic Association of Guidance in cooperation with the country’s Association of Islamic and Cultural Sciences.
The sessions began on May 14 with the participation of eminent and internationally-known Qaris from Egypt, Iran and Lebanon as well as Tawasheeh groups of the countries.
Sheikh Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Sheikh Mansour Jum’ah Mansour and Sheikh Tariq Shalabi from Egypt and Hamed Alizadeh and Muhammad Hassan Muwahhedi from Iran have taken part in the programs.
Hannaneh Khalafi, Iranian female Quran memorizer, and Qamar-e Bani Hashem Tawasheeh group are the other Iranian participants in the sessions.
The Quranic sessions will conclude on May 19.
