In his message to François Hollande, Hojat-ol-Islam Rouhani strongly condemned the “inhumane” attacks and offered condolences to the French nation and government.
He also underlined the need for firmer resolve in the world for all-out confrontation with terrorist groups.
Terrorist elements carried out seven attacks in different parts of Paris late on Friday, killing at least 153 people and injuring more than 200 others.
The ISIL (Daesh) Takfiri-terrorist group claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks.
The terrorist bombings and shootings took place in several venues, ranging from a concert hall to the national sports stadium to a pizzeria.
