Women Quran Teacher Training Course Concludes in Indonesia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 8th edition of the Quran teacher training course for women in Indonesia was held in Jakarta, the capital city.

According to the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, the course was organized by the center with the participation of 18 women.

The participants were Quran experts, supervisors of Indonesian religious centers and university students.

Theoretical and practical principles of Quran recitation, memorization of the 30th Juz (part) of the Quran , Quran memorization methods and teaching methods for memorizing the Quranic were the themes of the course.

The Dar-ol-Quran’s branch in Jakarta hosted the closing ceremony of the course which was addressed by Muntadhar Al-Mansouri, memorizer of the entire Quran and supervisor of the educational programs held by the center in Indonesia.

He stressed the importance of training skillful Quran teachers who will encourage the future generations to learn and act upon the teachings of the Divine Book.

The participants in the course were granted certificates and the top one was selected to teach the upcoming Quran memorization courses in Indonesia.
